Choose cheaper materials -- Make sure your new house is built from beautiful materials, but also those that are cheap. For instance, choose concrete roof tiles instead of those made from clay, or choose to have smaller windows as glass is so expensive.

 

Choose sophistication over luxury -- You can often choose to have a very sophisticated and, thus, expensive looking home without choosing luxurious materials to build it.

 

Keep the construction simple yet elegant and, not only will your new home look like it was expensively built, it will actually be much cheaper than most people can ever guess.
